In Photo Shop, it's easy to make an Action which will do almost anything, or any combination of things, and then save the Action for later use. Presumably, I could do the same sort of thing in Q - but I can't figure out how to do it, and I'm not seeing it in the Help files.

I'd like to make a predefined filter in Q which I can save for later use, add to the list of  predefined filters or somewhere else in Q, and apply it to one or more images at some later time. Of course I could make a "custom filter", but I don't see a way of saving a custom filter for later use.

Hi Bill,
Yes, it's easy in QU too, from the Image Editor screen File menu, top left.
Use any image that does not have any filters and add your custom parameters.
"Save Current Parameters" from the file menu with a suitable name, see screen shot below.
Your custom filter is then added to the list of pre-defined filters and can be used at any time, either from the Editor File menu, "Open filter parameters .." or the thumbnail context menu, or the Preview context menu or the Page Editor Context menu (open image editor).

Thanks Terry - That works perfectly, just as you said. It will be used frequently!  -  Bill
