I have found a work around where on the fly I can quickly edit the print info. When i right click "I" on the thumb, i gain access to the thumb drop down menu and und under operations, i choose rename. I find feature very convenient and it avoids having to add an annotation or a floating text, and more importantly it only changes the file name and leave the rest of the print info in tact.
