Greetings

I understand that I can assign different icc profiles and rendering intents to different images when I print multiple images in a single job from qimage.

Is it possible to apply different printer driver settings as well?

for example, i would like to print an image with an icc profile prepared for "epson standard (srgb) gamma 1.8"  and another image
with an icc profile prepared with "no color adjustment" . If I am printing both images in the same job this would require different settings for color management to be applied within the printer driver for each image in addition to applying a seperate icc profile.

That is correct. select and right clikc images on the preview or in the queue and choose Custom Color Mgmt Settings.

No you can't but why would you want to do that anyway?

You say A printer icc profile should not be prepared in that way. By doing that, the printer driver is "managing" the colour when printing the target which is definitely a no-no.
Printer targets should be printed with colour management set to "off" in whatever program is being used and the driver set so colours are not adjusted in any way, ie. "no colour adjustment".

An interesting concept that would really have its place to print B&W and color simultaneously.  Unfortunately, currently impossible because you would have to send two different printer driver settings in one job.
Yep, would be really nice to print a color image on part of a sheet (ICM-no management) and a B&W with ABW.  The later requires either letting the "printer manage color" or "no profile" in QI.

Thanks for replies, i figured it wasnt possible, regarding the above comment.......

The target image was printed with epson standard gamma 1.8 mode because the epson 7600 profiles better in that mode, rather than NCA (according to my profile provider, who has a lot of experience), the models after 7600 profile best in NCA. This also proved to be true in practice (the nca profile was too dark in shadows). So, if you print your target image in epson standard mode then you must also be in that mode when you use the resulting icc profile , not NCA.
