Thanks Fred! Went to Control Panel, removed printer, then installed downloaded driver file Epson13407.exe. All working, including error, which is still there. I didn't mention that I am using Vista Home Premium 64 bit 4GB ram.
I just double checked the download, and it looks like you have the right one.
Based on the fact that the error is presented immediately, the problem has to be printer related since the firs thing Q image does is check the printer.
So my next suggestion is to hold the SHIFT KEY down while you click the Qimage icon to open it.
This will do a reset of the files that Qimage uses to recall previous settings.
It could be something that was saved which got corrupted.
