Can Qimage print a small image like a thumbnail and include the file name under the image?

Yes of course,
You didn't explain how many you have, but this is the way to go.

At the print properties area lower right of the main screen, click the print size button and select Custom.
In the box that opens you can select Contact sheet with info and set the number of prints to the page, or if you have some amount more than about 10, use the other selection;Layout Predefined Page set.
Another box opens with pre defined pages. You will see 12 UP. 25 up, and 28 up.
That will allow you to drag and drop your images into the template that appears on your main screen and the info will be with it as neat as can be.
If you have 100 images, that's OK. Qimage will make page 2 and page 3 and page 4. Just keep double clicking the thumbnail images that you want to add.

Hi,
Thanks for the info. When I choose contact sheet it only has square thumbnails and I want 2x3 so my images aren`t cropped. Is there a way to set a contact sheet with caption for as many 2x3 that will fit on an 8.5x11 sheet? Also, frequently when I choose contact sheet it doesn`t show the options box but just jumps to 4 up on the page-is something corrupted?

Mike,
If the auto crop scissors is OFF, you will get the full image size that comes from your camera. 3:2 is the same as my 20D, and I get 3:2 images in the pre defined contact sheet sets.
I cannot tell from what you wrote whether you are shooting for NO CROPPING in the contact sheet and want to maintain your 3:2 aspect ratio, or whether you want 2 x 3 prints with info.
You can set the print size to 2 x 3 and check the info box. Qimage will decide how many will fit on your page for you.

The Contact sheet selection shows a columns box and a rows box. User selects the number of prints to the page.
Just type in the number of columns and the number of rows.
