I have been printing for years on the PC version of QImage, and was super excited to hear that there was a Mac version coming out (my desk currently has both a PC and a Mac, so I can do my usual editing on the Mac which I prefer, and the printing on the PC).  I have both 1 and Ult set up with the same ICC profiles, and to the best I can tell, the same print settings (navigating print settings on a Mac is not my forte).  Has anyone done a side by side comparison between prints from Ultimate and prints from 1?  I found my blues were bordering on fried on the QI1 print.  What is purple (some flowers) from Ultimate came out a very saturated blue in QI1.  The overall saturation in the QI1 print is much higher than the Ultimate print, and transition from a persons face into the background almost has a black outline.  Perhaps there is some print setting on Mac that I am missing?  Any pointers from others who have gone from one to the other?  I can post pics if needed/wanted.

Thanks in advance for any tips/advice!

First we want to be sure you are running the latest version: the latest Mac version is 2018.109.  Mac versions prior to 2018.109 could experience "double profiling" under some (rare) conditions depending on printer model and OS version.  That was fixed in 2018.109.

Mike
