New to this forum after using Qimage for about 5 years.

I have a customer who has requested I a ribbon of several thousand images printed continuously on a 13"x40' roll of canvas.  The images would be 2x3 inches and ideally printed end to end along the canvas in 3 or 4 continuous rows.  Is this possible with Qimage?  I have been trying for hours with different options and cannot figure it out.  I'm using an Epson 4000.  Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I tried, just for a start, 13" wide roll, and a 47" long described length.
I can get 4 - 3" wide into the 12.75 inch printable area, and 23 prints x 2 inches into the 47" long page.
That's 92 images .... but you have to tell us if he wants 4 feet long sheets and stop, cut off, and then another 4 foot long sheet... etc...
Or how long of a page do you want to print with no stop. (Assuming at some point you will be cutting the wallet size prints, you must have some idea how big the sheets should be.)

Thanks for your help Fred.

My customer is looking to have the entire length of the roll printed in one shot.  All 40 feet, not inches.  Turning the roll sideways and mounting it on a wall, he wants 3 or 4 vertical rows of images on the 13" high canvas that extends the whole way through the roll.  All the images are horizontal and should be printed one after the other (meaning they would go through the printer in a vertical orientation).  Though I have never done it, I know Qimage can extend beyond the 40 inch limit of the printer.  This is what he is looking for:

ALMOST THERE!
Didn't forget you
See snap.

Had to go out for a while.
Back now!

All Done... Had to do some arithmetic, but all set.
I did it in a 4800 driver so all my settings should work.  See new screen snap attached.

I have only one question more, make that 2.

Many thousand images...? All different or all the same? or a number of each?

Just looking for an easy way to put them all in.

Second question!    Does he want it really 40 feet long?  That would take 20 men and 20 ladders to put up.
The alternate would be to make 2 - 20 foot sections, or 4 10 foor sections and just mating teh edges.

Either way, the solution that qimage provides will allow you to do it either way

How do you want to do this?
Where are you located?
I can make a video and send it to you, or we can talk on the phone while you watch the video, or any other way?

Fred

Just a follow up.
Qimage was successful in producing just what Tony asked for.
We did it over the telephone. I emailed the template, and he's all set.

Just wanted anyone who was following this topic to know that Qimage was up to the task!
