I can't find and *.AUD file on the C drive. Did a windows search. I'll look manually for something that may sound similar.

I couldn't find Program Data because the hide system files wasn't unchecked. Once I deleted that .AUD file the problem is fixed. Qimage is fast once again. Thanks for your help. I guess when I am in a better mood I should call Epson and tell them about this problem so they can help other poor victims.
