Hi there,

Could it be possible to modify the installer so it shows a couple of buttons, one launches the normal full installation and the other launchs a simple "update" so QImage is installed with the previous install options no more questions adressed?

If I understand your question accurately, an installation of a fresh Qimage update never loses or alters previous options or settings.
Can you give me an example of a setting or option that was lost or altered.?
Also, tell us that you install by activating the newly downloaded exe file.

Fred has it right.  The installer never does anything but update the version.  Just install the latest version (without uninstalling the previous) and don't worry about it.

But it needs a "lot of clicks". I'm suggesting an "one click install for updates" that reuses the options selected in previous installations.
I'n not talking about QImage options but installers options.
Sorry about my English.

I have to be honest: I don't see any use for this.  For something you do maybe once a week, it's not worth me maintaining double the amount of installers.  In addition, one installer currently does it all and it takes less than two seconds to hold your mouse in one spot and click "Yes" or "Next" repeatedly until the prompts are done.

Mike

I agree.  I appreciate that you set it up so the ‘yes/next’ is always under the cursor.  Thx
