Obviously, I must have overlooked something that causes the various posts that I have read to be identified (as read) for me.
What I am looking for would be something like is used on the DpReview Forums that (after a post is read) the posted "subject" area changes color.
I am looking for something to where I can return to the this Forum and be able to recognize what I have read so I have no need to re-review such posts again.
I expect there is something that I am not aware of for this function.

At the top of the page there is a link called "Show unread posts since last visit".
Also, you get the word NEW appear against section titles and against posts within a section when a new post is made.

I forgot to say, you can set up e-mail notifications of new topics and replies.

I am aware of the item at the top.  What I am asking about is (for example) I opened a thread today, read either part or all of the posts at that time.  Then. tomorrow I open the same thread with the posts I have read yesterday plus any new posts after that time.
While in that Thread, is there a way for me to know by some indication that I have opened/read the first posts (for which I normally don't want to re-open and read) but I do want to continue reading the added posts since yesterday that I have not opened and read.
Seeing a list of posts that I have read is not useful for me unless they are identified in some way (within the thread containing ALL posts both read and not read.  Then, if needed, while in the Thread, I can re-read any as needed -- based on information in new posts in the thread.
Hope this makes sense the way I have explained.  I am NOT very familiar with all the features of this Forum like I am with the DpReview Forum where I have been much more active.
Will appreciate any help....

Forgot to mention that I don't want to receive the mentioned email notifications.  I already receive many emails -- some of which I don't need or want.
I can come to this Forum and review current information, as desired.

It is not that different from many other forums that use the same or similar template - see bottom of page: Powered by SMF.
You could always bookmark those threads/posts you want to go back to.

I am attaching a File that illustrates how this is accomplished in the DpReview Forums.
Not expecting the method in the Qimage Forum to be the same but I do need to know how to know what Posts I have read within a thread while in that thread.

You are probably going to have to work that one out for yourself. No-one else seems to have that problem, or they do, they are managing.

PS. I think you will have to see if Mike comments on this request.

Instead of clicking on the subject of the post to open it, click on the little "New" label.  Then it'll place you at the first new post (that you haven't read).

Sorry that it was necessary to contact you by PM to finally get the information you supplied.  I am surprised that one (or more) of the more experienced users didn't include that information in one of their posts.  Perhaps it is a feature rarely used by those that spend (more than average) time on this Forum.
However, I do appreciate all that responded and tried to help.

Correct. I rely on e-mails, filtered into a dedicated folder as they arrive or simply the Show unread posts link.

Terry, your comment   "Glad you are happy now"  gave me a good Laugh.  I was happy before and continue to be happy.
The only difference is that I now have a factual reply to my inquiry.
