Is there a workaround?
John,
Not familiar with that printer, so I will suggest two things to check.
Go to EDIT Preferences, Printing Options, and set the Format to RAW under Print Spooler.
The second thing to check/set is
UNCHECKING the box that says Enable Advanced Features, in Printer properties Usually found in Control Panel, or Printers and Faxes,,,, depending on the version of Windows
That should do it in most cases.
Qimage is sending a lot of data, but those two settings are where we start.
