I am using an Epson R2400 and Windows 7 (64bit).


How do I adjust the space between prints.  (The space I get is equal to the size of the print.  In my case, it is 19.75".)

The way I do it, printing an image as large as possible onto canvas, is to set the image size to the same size, or slightly larger than the outside dimensions of the stretcher frame. I then add on the mirror border about a quarter inch wider than the frame thickness, and a second white border to contain the canvas edge markings. The total width of the print, including the borders will usually be the just under the width of the canvas. The total page length will be the length of the image plus twice the width of the two borders (or in my case  the width of the canvas less the width of the image plus the length of the image). I set the page length to that size plus whatever distance is needed to separate the prints. If you are using standard sized frames, then you will end up with a page size for each frame that you can recall as required. (I assume the 2400 allows custom page sizes to be stored in the driver). This is for canvases stretched and stapled onto the back of the frame.

If you are stapling on the edge, and using an external frame, or using the Hahnemuhle gallerie wrap system or similar, then you may not need the second white border or edge markings, and the first border can be the same size as the frame thickness, and you will adjust the page length accordingly.

If you don't want to do the sums, you can initially select a longer page than you need, set the borders, etc., open the full page editor and read off the overall print size from there, and set that as the custom size. Set it in the page formatting (4th button at top left of screen - set in print driver). There are other ways, I expect.
