Title: very old version of Qimage (2006)
Post by: moozer on May 05, 2013, 04:50:25 PM
Hi Mike!

I have a 2006 Version which I purchased as part of a HiTi package from Radex.  I realize my version is no longer in production but are there any upgrades at all available?

Also, I have since purchased a Mac and would love to use Qimage on my new computer.  Can it be done?

You can find all the information you need at this site.

On the Mac question, many have reported success on a MAC by installing Parallels, to make any version of Windows run. Then of course, so will Qimage.
Hope this helps....

But if you going to attempt to run Qimage on your new computer, I strongly urge you to purchase Ultimate... It is so full of features that are ahead of its time; such as Deep Focus Sharpening.
DFS allows sharpening with no halos.
Tone Targeted Sharpening, to allow you to isolate a tone or set of tones to sharpen or ignore...
Have a look at the demo.

It will amaze you.
