It's been a bit quiet lately

Good to see the Group has woken up.

We are all confined to barracks this side of the pond.

I managed to take a few garden photos this week the first for many months.

I will reduce the file size and see if I can remember how to post them here.

Time is short, filling in the day with useless chores.

Hi Jeff,
Good to hear from you. I've not done much photography lately either. I am managing to get out for a walks, following the government guide lines of course. My wife comes if it's a short one. Yesterday I did a 15mile bike ride on quiet lanes. My first decent ride for months; my son said the time I took was not bad for a 77 year old!
Some recent photos of a local solo woodland walk are here.

Nothing very special, I traveled light with just a 60mm macro lens fitted.
Time for Fred to butt in now  Wink

Glad to see some activity here. I've taken a few photos but am being pretty strict about not leaving the house and not leaving without wearing a mask. Many of us are in the age groups that don't do well if we get this virus.

If I could get a clear night I'd like to try a moon shot on the telescope with the Z6. There's also comet Atlas, but it might be better to wait until it brightens up a bit. Terrestrial stuff isn't too exciting right now as we're in mud and crud season, though I did take a shot of the woodchuck in the backyard a couple days ago through a fogged thermopane window. "Well, that worked out about as well as could be expected."

Stay healthy,
Conrad
