I've been trying to get access to the Studio Forum without success as yet. I also notice that my profile says "Newbie" although I purchased and registered my Studio edition way back in 2008. I have not changed my email address in that time, so there seems no reason not to recognise me as a "Studio User" in these forums. Any idea how this is supposed to work? Is it automatic, or does Mike do it manually?

Regards

John

His refers to your number of posts on the forum, not how long you have owned Qimage.

It is done manually by Mike.
You need to send him a personal message  using the MY MESSAGES link at the top of the forum web page.
The full instructions are on the forum here http://xrl.in/4jt7
It may take 1 or 2 days.
From the link above;

a new "Qimage Studio Edition" forum will be visible in "Mike's Software" (you will not receive any confirmation message via email or private forum message).

Hi Terry,

Slightly puzzled about that, since others who have even fewer posts than me are shown as "Studio Users"! (That's why I asked the question).

I have followed the procedure to access the Studio forum, but no response after 3 days. (I see another poster has the same problem, having had no response for a considerable time).  Obviously having paid for the "premium product" it's rather disappointing not to be able to access its support forum.

The number of post and "Studio User" are not related, they are 2 different categories. You'll see that have  Studio User and a category related to my posting numbers.

Mike does check the forum so I'm sure he'll soon be on to it. They may have been a problem with the messaging feature of the web site.

In the mean time, if you have any Studio related problems, just ask on the regular Qimage section
Terry.
