Mike's Software / Profile Prism / New computer-windows 10 version 2004-compatability issue.

Using my normal work flow that I have successfully refined over many years; the profiles that I am now creating with PRISM ARE PRINTING EXTREMELY INACCURATELY, (very muddy). As a test I loaded my old profiles from my laptop which I created some weeks ago, (using my normal work flow) and these PRINT ACCURATELY.
QUESTION - Is there a compatibilty issue with this latest version of Windows 10 - version 2004 and PRISM PROFILE because at the moment I cant use Prism to make accurate profiles on my new kit? Many Thanks, Alan
ps,My monitor is profiled usnig datacolor spyder. my printer is a Canon ip8750, epson scanner and vuescan version 9.7.28
OOPS:-ISSUE RESOLVED-I HAD A CORRUPTED PRINTER TARGET 40 PRINT

I think the topic of this thread is that Apple will be using HEIC file format as default. That said, it would be really useful for both Qimage One and Q/U to be able to print the HEIC format without having convert to JPG first. Again on the wishlist for Mike You're right Fred, Raw is law - just did a wedding, all shot in NEF Raw. Hoping to be able to print HEIC file format pics soon Regards Alan

No Fred, definitely not space saving Ive been testing the HEIC format re-ease of editing etc, I think the HEIC file format is slightly better in many respects than the JPG, I think over time it may become a standard format

A bit more info- Re screen shot: As you see, I created a HEIC copy and a JPG copy from the original NEF raw file. The new HEIC format is indeed designed to save space.
HEIC file size 1.44 MB JPG file size 3.73 MB NEF RAW file size 15.2 MB
With the correct HEIC codec and a photo editor that is HEIC format file aware, windows 10 works ok. I think I am correct to say that Q/U is not HEIC aware in v2019.124 as yet. Might this be a wishlist request for Mike? Regards, Alan.

Hi Mike, I am presuming that a thumb rebuild will have to be undertaken to attain the highest quality Live View pic. (As you have already outlined in a previous post to me).
Is this Correct? Many thanks for this upgrade. Regards, Mical.

EPSON PRINT SETUP/PROPERTIES/ADVANCED/ NO COLOR CONTROLS/ PAPER CONFIG/ /LESS 15% COLOR DENSITY.
when I had my Epson 2100 I found it was just putting to much ink on to the paper I adjusted ink density as above it might be worth a try.
After I reduced ink density the colour cast was no longer an issue.

Thanks Fred. The reason I am asking is my eyes are not as good as they used to be, (recently had new glasses prescription) so seeing a pixelated image on the front screen as a FIRST VIEW is giving me grief trying to focus.
I am well aware of all the options to achieve full res for viewing full screen, printing, and soft proofing etc I have been using Qimage for ten years.
The only ask I have is can the front screen FIRST VIEW image be up resolutioned as an option even though it may take a little longer to load.

Hi Fred. Still cant get the main pic above 600x600 ppl (see snap shot) even with print res set to overdrive 1200 ppl and poster res set to max 600ppl.
Question- Any idea why 600X600 ppl res was chosen as the display resolution, it does pixelate the image somewhat, are there any other adjustments to up the resolution ?
