Thank you for your advice.
I did just that: printed on Epson glossy and the result was very similar to the metallic paper. A bit too dark.
I adjusted the monitor a bit darker.

Questions:
- I adjusted the color density setting to -10 and -20 (percent, I assume) but I saw barely any difference.
Does QImage bypass the Epson driver?

- Is there a utility that can estimate if the remaining ink is sufficient to complete a certain print and size?

Thanks!

Not to self: here's how to get the previous free nudging movement in previous disable 'Scissors function':
-click on down arrow (More Tools) in the image preview -situated on lower right corner
-in Layout tab, Print Size (mm), dropdown 'Select a standard size" =  Fit to Paper
- click on Cropping Tab (next to the Layout tab)- nudge photo to desire position

I have two different templates that I use, portrait and landscape.  When I select the first one, portrait and set a number of prints going, do I have to wait until they are all done before beginning a new order with a different template?
Thanks!!

Not 100% sure what you mean by "templates" since those are usually part of a layout so I'm going to make some assumptions.  Just let me know if this is not what you mean.

As to individual "templates", you can mix as many portrait and landscape templates as you like in a job but the paper orientation itself is a driver setting and that can't change mid-job.  So if you are referring to printing a portrait job (that has portrait page orientation) and then starting a landscape job, you don't have to wait for the printer to be done printing to start the landscape job: you only have to wait for Qimage to finish processing.  Once Qimage has sent the portrait job to the printer, you can print the landscape job while the portrait job is still being processed by the spooler/printer and is still printing.

Regards,
Mike

Recently, colour matching setting is showing 'off' as expected when I load a printer profile.
Definitely wasn't as I left it a while before raising the issue...?!

Still seems to be doing what it should now which is good.
I'll keep an eye on it.

You have a printer profile selected so Qimage will command the color setting to "Off" automatically if you have the driver AI settings turned on.  Not seeing a problem here: as soon as I select a profile the color setting in the driver switches (and stays) on Off.

Maybe to test it try clicking the AI Copilot button on the top of the main UI and turn OFF all the driver AI options, then try to operate the driver settings manually.  See if that corrects the problem.

Mike

I'm not sure how to interpret that question because when you talk about deleting images, technically that means you want to delete actual images from your disk drive(s) - in the thumbnails.  Or, you could mean remove all the prints from the live view/job.  If you just want to clear the job, right click on the live view and select "Remove All".

Mike

Thank you, I'm getting it slowly! another question, after I have made 20 or thirty images is there a quick way to delete the entire stack?
