Just open the printer targets setup job:

Click the "Recall" button top left of the main window.

Open "{Q} printer target setup.job"

What settings should I use when I print targets? It's clear that Printing profile must be OFF but what about the Rendering Intent and Black Point Compensation?

Qimage remembers everything session-to-session including the window size and position.  So if you set the window size on a particular computer, it's installation of Qimage will remember the settings for that computer.  The other computers should be independent.  So I don't understand where there is an issue.  The computer with the 1080 display would remember whatever settings worked for that display and the other computer that uses a 2160 4K display would remember the settings appropriate for that one.  Also, whenever you click the maximize button, it'll fit the main window to whatever monitor you are using.

Thank you for replying.  Meanwhile I found the cause/solution.
I share a dropbox drive with three different computers, which have very
different resolutions (from FullHD to 4K).
When I use the FullHD laptop after I fully use the 4K display it somehow
hides the thumbnail area in such a way I can not reach it.

However when I make the window of QImage smaller on the 4K computer and
then go to the laptop I can see the search thumbnail area again.

Is there anyway I can prevent this behaviour and the windows setting is
independent and stays the same on each computer?

Can you post a screen shot?  I'm not quite understanding how you are describing it: like it's something other than just the normal file list when thumbs are turned off.

In the down left corner of the Qimage Ultimate I'm used to see the thumbnails
of the file-list above it.
But suddenly I no longer see the thumbnails, only the filelist (which now takes all of the left side).
I have option on menu VIEW > THUMBS OFF / On on ON.

When I click on widget of the File-list, the File-list disappear and the Thumbnails are
visible again. But this is not the solution.

I have just installed V 2025.101

Any idea how to get my Thumbnails back, next to the file-list?

Paint.net is a pretty decent free program that I use a lot. I've never saved in tiff but I think it mostly gets you huge files. I'd switch to jpeg and probably not notice the difference.

I see the same problem on my system (Window 10).
My guess is a problem with the installation of the lightroom plugin.
I don't use Lightroom, but there might by some garbage from an old lightroom vesrion 1 from 10 yiear ago or so.
What might be the reason for this. I do not need the Lightroom-Plugin.

P.S.: Since I allways keep copies of the pder versions, I reinstalled version qu24-100p.exe and this version works
and is installable with my personal account. ok, I am asked for the admin-account during the instalation process.
But that is how it worked for years.

I've now had time to look at the TIFF you sent (thanks for that!).

The EXIF header is corrupted.  The size of the EXIF header is 31 MB which is larger than the whole file.  I'm not sure whether it is an infinite loop inside the EXIF data or some other problem but the EXIF reader that I use is able to handle the corruption but the EXIF writer that is used when a new copy is saved crashes.  Not much I can do as it's a third party add-on and not my code... nor would I spend much time on it since it is not the fault of Qimage.

The software used to save that TIFF is listed as "paint.net 5.0.13".  Not quite sure what that is but I would venture a guess that it's a bug in that software since that is what saved the TIFF.  Maybe just avoid that tool for the final save?
