So, I don't do much with RAW and figured if they opened correctly, things were good. Not entirely true with the Z6iii. They open and you can work with them, but the color saturation is extremely low. I think a lib update and profile will need to happen at some point. Same results in Topaz Photo AI, RAW Therapee and Affinity Photo. Unlike Affinity Photo, RAW Therapee at least has enough range on the sliders to correct the image well.

I went back in and double checked and I think I had the wrong setting in the properties for the unclog program. There are multiple places to check for driver properties...Qimage driver properties.....windows printer driver properties.....unclog printer driver properties (was set for rear feeder)...I think I have all the property settings correct now

Is it a paper size mismatch or a media type mismatch?  I know some printers give a media error but most give those errors under one of two conditions:

(1) Printer detects that the media type doesn't match (such as detecting matte surface when you selected glossy paper).
(2) Printer detects that the width of the paper (or roll) doesn't match what is being sent by the driver.

Not sure if the P900 is sophisticated enough to detect the paper type so I'd check to make sure the roll width is correct first.

Mike

I was testing this to make sure it works while I am gone, and I keep seeing a paper mismatch on my printer screen. I checked the paper source both in Qimage and the driver and they are both set for roll paper. Why would I be getting this warning? I am assuming that I can just leave the roll paper in there without cutting after each printing and so on. Is this true or is is that what is causing the warning? I also turned off the wireless so there should be no windows updates and rebooting. The computer and printer are on a UPS so hopefully they will ride out any power outages? Any other tips or input so that I can leave with confidence and not come back to a clogged printer?

OK Thank you. Once a week it is.

You probably don't need to run it any more than once a week but if you don't mind it running 30 times while you are gone, you could run it every 3 days.

Mike

To make sure it's not corrupted settings, hold the Shift key while you click the Properties button on the Printers and Settings tab.  That will open the driver with all defaults (no saved settings).  Then set all parameters like media type, size, quality, etc. inside the driver and try printing.  If it doesn't print, it isn't Qimage and you have an issue with the connection.

Mike

I will be traveling for 3 months. I have set up the unclog program to run with roll paper and it seems to be working. How often do I need to run it?

Suddenly I can't print images from Qimage Ultimate to Canon pro100. I can however send images to my document printer. I don't know if this is a canon issue or Qimage. I have printed a few hundred images without trouble. This just popped up on Monday. I've tried unplugging etc. haven't tried uninstalling and re installing Qimage.

thanks
Brian

It won't arbitrarily switch to half page.  The only way this can happen is if you have two jobs scheduled and one is a half page job that prints less frequently.  No bugs have been reported in the scheduling.  Maybe to make sure you have clean scheduling or in case something got corrupted, remove all current jobs and clear the schedule.  Then make a new job from scratch and schedule only that job.

Regards,
Mike
