How to create a New Page?
«

I started using Qimage Studio today after a long spell of not using it. I have v2010.209. I am puzzled at how to add a new page. The online instructions say to click the "Next Page" button in Freehand mode until you reach the current last page, and then click the button again & you will be given the option of creating a new page. My Qimage does nothing after I click the "Next" button upon reaching the current last page.
Help!
Thanks!

I had that problem a while back. For me, I was using the toggle switch with the red f at the upper right of the page display to switch into freehand mode. I found that if I switch to freehand mode using the placement button (between the landscape mode button and the lock button), then pushing the next button does bring up the new page option.

You have it correct, and it could even be easier.
Simply, click the little red "F" as you said, answer yes to the question if you want Freehand mode, and just add your next image.
Automatically, the next image will go to a new page.
There's a way to right click on page one and select insert new page, and you will get a blank new page inserted.
But the simplest way is what you suggested.

Yes, that is the correct way to make all pages Freehand mode.
You can also right click on a page and select Insert Page, that puts a new page before the one you right clicked on. That works in the other placement modes too.

Gimme a little slack. I'm just out of the hospital, you know.
I have to see what this Qimage is all about. I must have anesthesia-amnesia!
I saw your certificate.
Where do I take the test to earn one?

Fred,
You mean this one I assume.

(ignore the other stuff on that thread, it's a red herring)
I thought you already had a doctorate in the subject, no certificate needed for you, it seems to me you are on top form already.

Thanks folks!
That was fast!!!!
I was trying to click the button after using the red flag. The other ways you suggested work great.

I did have one. It was issued by Chancellor Chaney.
he just misspelled something on the certificate, and ruined the moment!
It was supposed to say, ... The Board has certified you as DOCTOR of Qimage EMERITUS.
Instead it says, ..... The Board has certified you as DOCTOR of Qimage ENEMAS.
Ruined the whole award.
