Thanks guys.
Not surew what I've done but I now have different issues!
On the 2018 version, where the problems exist, The print size is 9"x6" and so is the media size set.
When I select an image for printing, it pops into the display area, but each image selected has a different print size!
6 x 7.37 on one.
5.99 x 9.10 on another.
6 x9 on another.
5.94 x 9.03 on another.
Back to 6 x 7.37 on another.
Does that give any clues?
Hi Steve,
I wish you were in the US so I could speak like on the phone with you.
I have many print drivers here to test and you claim a paper size of 9 x 6. Unless you have a printer that uses roll paper and you can define your paper size, no printer that I tested offers a 9 x6 paper size.
Perhaps you had a custom cut of sheet paper made for you, and you have a printer that permits user defined sizing, it will work.
BUT using an epson driver, the printable area of 9 x 6 is 8.776 x 5.776.
I am assuming you did not fiddle with Scaling in the driver.
What printer are you using?
Now you can easily get varying print sizes if, like I do, I crop the images aesthetically so each one is cropped for viewing enhancement.
If the auto crop scissor is off, then each print will retain the aspect ratio of the crop, and the crops will be random as to size.
One more item to contend with..... Three screen snaps attached.
039 Crop scissor on to fill out my 8 x 10 request.
041 shows crop scissor off of an image that was 3:2 ratio from the camera. Print size is 10. x 6.67
040 is a little more complicated but can give you smaller size prints. It is so cropped that the 8.0 side is filled out before the 10.0 inch size and I get a print size of 9.0 x 8.0.
Please tell us what printer. What is the paper size. What is the print size you want. lastly, if you can, send the resolution the image that is creating the most confusion.
