Hi there,  Grin

I use Qimag Ultimate with my Canon ipf6300, using ICC profiles for each paper I print on.
For some papers the result is differen - when I:

1. Use the ICC profile in Qimage and deactivate it in the printer driver and
2. Use the ICC profiel in the printer driver activating it within Qimage

I already can see the differnce in the preview the printer driver provides before the printer starts itīs work.

I do not understand how comes that differnece?  Huh?

Regards,
Peter

Peter,
The proper way to use your printer profile is to situate it in Qimage in the Job properties, as shown in the attached screen snap, and to set the driver to OFF, as shown in the attached screen snap.

Hope this helps

Hi Fred,

Thanks.
Thatīs the way I actually do it as well.

And for some papers the setting of the ICC within the job properties works well. For others is does not - the print results are ... Angry
As a workaround for those papers I tell Qimage to let the printer do the color management and activate/choose the ICC within the printer driver.

But that does still looks strange to me - shouldnīt the results be (at last very) similar?

Peter,
When you use Let Printer Manage..... and Qimage switches to that mode, you must open the Driver (from Qimage Upper right corner, Page setup), and change the "No Color Adjustment"  or OFF to ICM.
That should fix that!
