Hi,
I've created a template based on some older stuff, but whenever I place images on that template, the path name to the image is overlayed on the image, so I guess I have inherited that from somewhere.

How do I get rid of that text? I don't see anything obvious ;-(

thx

Where is the text? Under the image or inside the image?

If it is TEXT that you put in the saved Template, then you need to RECALL the template using RECALL and the "L" button. Then repair the template, and resave

Well, it came into my template because I started of with one of the canned templates to begin with. I did not see it in the original template.

The text only shows up when I try to use the template (after I pull an image in), I see nothing about it when I try to edit the template.

cheers

Do you have a check mark in the INFO box on the main screen>

Well, let's back up!
What does the above really mean?
Explain, step by step, please!

Well,
I switched to custom layout and loaded a template (do not remember which) because I had a bit of a problem with the layout example (it starts of with pages sizes that do not exist on my system and continues on with icons that are not where they should be, guess the docs are out of date), modified the layout to my needs and then suddenly realized that text shows up when I try to use it.

What totally puzzles me, is the lack of any indication of that text stuff when I try to edit the template.
(I can see it in the file if I open it with an editor, but as I have no clue about the file structure I did not muck about with that).
See attached file.

Ok,
definitely pilot error....

Silly me never realized that I could right click on the little circle at the left of the image when editing the template.

Sorry for the bother and thanks for your patience.

cheers
