On my HP Z3100 how do I set Ultimate up for printing B&W? Do I choose No Profile and Print in Grayscale?

Hi Mike,
I don't do a great deal of B&W printing and my printer has only 2 blacks, gloss & matt. I know some printers have greys to make B&W printing better.
However, a good colour profile should always produce neutral greys and that' what I use.
I don't think I've ever tried the grey scale setting, I must do that sometime.
Hopefully others here may have different experience and will post too.

Mike

I keep all my B/W files as  RGB, then print using my normal printer profile. Greys are colours too, and an accurate printer profile is the best way to keep them neutral (or whatever tone you want) in the finished print.

Well I did try using greyscale on my R2000 and compared it to the image printed with a colour profile.
Chalk & Cheese! The greyscale print had an obvious blue cast.
