User defined paper sizes not saving

The printer driver for my Epson SC-P800 is no longer saving user defined paper sizes in QImage, or other applications (e.g., Excel). It can create new paper sizes & they appear to be saved, but they are not there after closing and reopening Printer Setup Properties. I spent most of the day talking to Epson support. They claim it must be an operating system problem & say to contact Microsoft. I'm on Windows 11 & have installed the latest Qimage version and the latest printer driver. Anybody else having this issue now? Any resolution? Online search shows this issue is not just my system.
