v2021.100      Nov 20, 2020

Priority: High

Note: Black Friday sale now through Nov 30

2021.100 includes:

  • Print orientation: Ability to turn print auto-rotation on or off on a per-print basis ("off" ensures images appear upright on page)

  • Layouts: Ability to use multiple (compatible) layouts in the same job
  • Layouts: Ability to set print auto-rotation on or off on a per-template basis in custom layouts: images dropped in templates obey the setting
  • Layouts: Option in the image placement menu/button to load last-used layout
  • Layouts: When a custom layout is chosen, it will remain in place until another placement method is chosen (IntelliCenter, IntelliSpace, etc.)
  • Cards: Added new centering options in the full page editor: center in quadrants for two-fold cards or center on page halves for single fold
  • UI: Improved UI responsiveness, particularly when copying or moving photos within Qimage Ultimate
  • Fixes: Fixed some minor bugs.

OK, there are very few brain cells left, and spell checker not much good either.

Get the attached "Windows Protected Your PC" and can't get beyond this screen when installing  QU21-100p.exe

Previously all updates ran smoothly and I have not made recent changes to my PC except for the Windows updates.

Use AVG Antivirus - Paid version. Disabling it for the installation did not help.

The only option is a "DO NOT RUN" button at the top right cancel "
Any suggestions appreciated. With the lack of specifics in the error message I do not even know where to start and experience tells me I only make matter worse if I try random changes.   Embarrassed Embarrassed

You probably have your Windows Defender settings cranked all the way up.  There's some info on this page:

https://www.addictivetips.com/windows-tips/fix-no-run-anyway-option-on-smartscreen-windows-10/

If that doesn't work, you can also click on the Windows search icon and type "Reputation" and then click on "Reputation-based protection".  Then turn off "Potentially unwanted app blocking" long enough to install it.  This SmartScreen protection is not particularly "smart".  It blocks everything until it has been downloaded enough times and develops this "reputation".  Who knows how slow Microsoft will be in updating their reputation database.

I suddenly started getting this as well, but my settings must be lower because I did get the Run Anyway option.

I had to disable the firewall to install it.

It looks like as of this morning, Microsoft has it sorted.  I sent them a message alerting them that we renewed our code signing certificate and the new one needs to be in the reputation database.  It was fixed in just a few hours so maybe MS uses Qimage.  Smiley

Have same problem, still not fixed!  On clinking link am taken to a screen asking for username and password to access ddisoftware site (see attached file). Have tried disabling smartscreen, realtime scanning, firewall and bypass password manager no effect.  Any more ideas?

That's the registered user download page from your registration email.  Looks like you clicked the link from the registration email: the username and password are supplied in that same email.  You can enter that username/password from the email to access the site; please don't post the username/password here as they are for registered users only so they can download the installer.

Thanks for the quick response. Got fooled as the appearance of that page has changed and I didn't think to use the usual entries, was thinking it wanted something else!
