I've used RAW processing on the large size files and it works fine. But I recenetly shot a bunch of images using sRAW2. This is the small size raw. I cannot get white balance to work at all using Refine Raw Exposure. I always get a strong purple hue. I tried it with and without the icc profile I purchased from ddisoftware.

The eye dropper white balance in the batch filter works fine.

Make sure you are not using an over exposed pixel when you select the measuring spot.
You do know that holding the Control Key down while in refine will evaluate the areas that can possibly be used for a white balance point. You can also right mouse hold on that point and read the RGB values.
Anything approaching 255 should be avoided.

The only time I have seen that is when I've picked a "bad" spot for WB, ie. too bright (as Fred says) or just not a true grey area on the actual scene.
Terry.

Thanks, but I have checked and I am selecting an appropriate area. It seems like there is something wrong when using the ~5 MPix size raw files.

Ken,
Just for grins, if you feel inclined, could you email one image for me to try?
