After creating a profile in PP 7.0, the message at the bottom of the screen says "Finished. ICC profile saved as: C:\Program Files (x86)\Prism\pp LiDE2210 v1.icm", but the file was actually saved as: "C:\Users\Doug\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\Prism\pp LiDE2210 v1.icm".

I am running Window 7 Pro x64.

You can and should create your own destination and filename as well as the descriptor right before you click CREATE.

All colour profiles normally reside here:
C:\Windows\System32\spool\drivers\color

I solved the issue this way.   I made a shortcut on my desktop to the profiles folder (C:\Windows\System32\spool\drivers\color) and also a shortcut on my desktop to the PP folder.   As soon as I finish a profile I just open the two folders and drag a copy of the new profile into the profiles folder.

You could have re-set the file path in PP and re-created the profile.
Next time click the File Name browse button (see attached screen shot), browse to the C:\Windows\System32\spool\drivers\color folder and name the profile.
Then all will be correct with respect to the location.
