It has to be something simple. I've been doing this printing stuff too long to have these issues and although I'm still a newbie in Qimage - it
was working inside of Qimage.
Windows PC - Lightroom Classic - Canon Pro 1000.
I just replaced the hard drive and reloaded all the software.
I cannot produce a print.
Here is the problem. I'm trying to print a 5" x 7" print, but the Qimage software when mouse is hovered over 5 X 7 says the size is too large for the current media. There is no setting that suggests such the case except under properties it displays 19.95 x 13.50 @240 PPI. Still, the actual shown print shows proper 6.6" x 4.73 image size with excellent PPI.
Here's what I've tried. Numerous reboots. Lightroom visits that sets the media at 5 X 7. Visits to the Control panel driver that sets all parameters including media at 5 X 7. St the Canon Pro 1000 media at 5 X 7. Use the Canon AI inside Qimage to control media size. Note that the media size in the photo window is indeed 5 X 7. Note that the print is set at slightly below 5 X 7. Now on my second glass of wine and reviewing said parameters. Even the Canon printer window won't allow for the image to be printed due to mismatched size.
I've literally spent now maybe 4 hours to produce a print inside Qimage. Haven't actually tried inside of LR since the rebuild
One parameter I have never grown accustomed to is the print size panel. Why do I have to specify 8.5" x 11" paper? Why is it not a default? And maybe that is something I missed in the video's?
Thanks for the help.
