Is this a problem with Qimage V 2011.114? Is there a way to tell Qimage to save the format Optimal or Compact with the pictures shifted right and down?
There is no problem with Qimage Ultimate at all.
When you say the prints had grown, you printed or you see something on the screen?
I have an R1800 in front of me and with print orientation in portrait mode, three 4 x 6 prints are right there for you.

The part that you need to help me with is why and what did you do to make prints larger than 4 x 6.
With Crop scissors on, when you open the Print Property box to select the size, you will get the size you ask for; making sure there are no B+ borders tuned on.
Please check the print size as reported by Qimage in the Print queue. See screen snaps.

To save all the settings, simply click FILE, SAVE and click the "J" button to save a JOB. That will save everything for you.
