1  Mike's Software / Qimage Ultimate / Triptych on: April 22, 2024, 12:03:09 AM
I have done a triptych and I see the 3 images but since my printer is only 24 inches wide how do I separate each image to resize and make each wide like 18" so I would have 3 images on the wall each being 18" wide?

Thanks

I am using rolls now mainly 24" x 100ft what settings should be in the media size field, and should it be portrait or landscape orientation? I don't plan to ever print borderless. Canon Pro 2100

Ok started from scratch

1. Brought in an image which is 18x24
2. Then added a matt which overall is 18x24 but the image itself is 15.33X22.00 so far so good
3. Then I turned off freehand button and the image is gone and it moves to page 2?

All I want to do is print to file including the matt and image as 1 file.

This shows the steps

1. Recall Job showing the full image of 18x24 and mat border.
2. Go to Print to File where the size is correct
3. Once I click ok the image moves to the right cutting off the edge.

Ok I tried to do the print to file process, right now I have the image on screen and a matt border around it but when I go to print to file on the first dialog box I set the parameters and part of the image shifts off screen? Then I look at the image in my win photo viewer and indeed part of the image is missing on the right?

To put into a pictures folder in case I want to print it later but Mike has said just to save it as a job but if I need to save just the file as a jpg or tiff do a print to file

Once I have gotten the photo where I want it with floating text and a matt border how do I save it as a tiff or jpg to be used later on. I see job, sessions, layout etc and the explanation for each but these seem to save all sorts of parameters. How can I save just the photo and place in a folder I created?

13  Mike's Software / Qimage Ultimate / Photo Matt Problem on: March 05, 2024, 01:04:44 AM
Hi I have some gator board which measures 18x24 so I need to keep that size for the overall print. The image on screen right now is 18x24 the same as the gator board. But I need to add a photo matt around it for a title but once i do this and playing with the photo matt numbers I cannot get the overall photo to be 18x24? ie 18x21.78

How do I get the overall print to be 18x24 including the white board because I cannot exceed 18x24.
